Formulas instead of meaning

To answer a simple question you first have to write something like this, and a month later remember what it does.

One broken cell ruins the model

A shifted reference or an extra zero is not highlighted. The file looks convincing and shows profit that will never happen.

Someone else’s template is a maze

A template from the internet is a thousand cells of someone else’s logic. Starting over is easier than finding where the total comes from.

How it works

Three steps instead of a forty-tab spreadsheet

Pick blocks, type your numbers, get a month-by-month forecast for one, two or three years.

  1. Step 1

    Add blocks

Sales, subscriptions, staff, rent, ads, loans, taxes. Choose what your business is made of, like items in a basket.

    Coffee and food sales
    Baristas
    Rent
    Start-up loan
  2. Step 2

    Type your numbers

Plain fields instead of formulas: price, sales, salary, interest rate. The model recalculates on every keystroke.

    4.80
    1,800

    Sales in the first month

    Monthly profit $4,830

  3. Step 3

    Click any number

See what it is made of, in words rather than a formula. Works for every cell in every report.

    Coffee sales10,906
    Total income10,906
    Baristas3,180
Total income for March 2027: $10,906. The income rows above are added up.

AI assistant

An analyst that researches the market and never edits without asking

The assistant sees the whole model and its results. It checks every idea with the same engine that calculates your reports, so the numbers in the chat match the numbers in the model.

1

Builds a model from a description

“A three-chair barbershop in Austin, I have $20K.” The assistant asks a couple of questions and assembles revenue, staff, rent, start-up costs and taxes.

2

Researches the market with sources

Average ticket and competitor prices, rent per square meter, salaries, seasonality and competitors nearby. Every figure links to where it came from.

3

Proposes changes, you decide

Each change comes as a card: what changes and how profit, cash and break-even move. Apply it or skip it.

How the AI assistant works

Interface

Everything in sight, nothing hidden

No hidden sheets or formula tabs. Three screens one click apart, and any number explains itself.

What’s inside

It handles what homemade spreadsheets trip over

Profit and cash are different things

Profitable businesses close when there is no cash at the right moment. FinModel keeps a profit and loss statement and a cash flow forecast side by side and warns you about the gap in advance.

Cash runs out in February 2027. At the lowest point you are short $14,200

What-if scenarios

Two sliders instead of three copies of the file: sales 30% lower, costs 10% higher. You see at once whether the business survives.

Model check-up

FinModel notices what was forgotten: taxes, payroll costs on top of salaries, 20% monthly growth (that is ninefold in a year), margins that do not exist.

Investor report

One click gives a PDF with conclusions in words, charts and yearly totals. Excel export is there when someone insists.

Every number explains itself

Click a number in any report and read what it is made of: “2,272 sales × $4.80”. No formula hunting.

Any currency, taxes accrued like the tax office does

Tax is accrued from the start of the year, so a loss-making month lowers the tax of the following months. Taxes on revenue, on profit, or a fixed monthly amount, in any of more than 150 currencies.

Questions

What people usually ask

Do I need a finance background?

No. FinModel asks plain questions: price, sales per month, salaries, rent. It turns the answers into a profit and loss statement, a cash flow forecast and charts, and explains every number in words.

Where does the AI assistant get market data?

It searches the web for your city and niche: competitor prices and menus, rental listings, job ads with salaries, public research. Every figure in the answer comes with a list of sources you can open.

Can the assistant break my model?

No. It never edits on its own. Each change arrives as a card that shows how profit, cash and break-even will move, and you decide whether to apply it. Any change can be undone.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

If you do not subscribe, your models stay in the account and open in read-only mode. Editing, exports and the assistant come back as soon as you pick a plan. The trial never turns into a paid plan by itself.

Which currencies can I pay in?

US dollars, euros or rubles. Payments are processed by Lava.top, a payment service that accepts cards from most countries. You can cancel renewal in your account at any time.

Does it work for my country?

Models run in any of 150+ currencies with your own tax rate on revenue or profit. If you need a preset that is missing, write to hello@finmodel.app.

Run the numbers before you spend the money

Seven days of every Pro feature, no card required. Your models stay in your account.
